1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dexme mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Solveon Labs Private Limited (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using Dexme, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Dexme is a digital contact management platform that allows users to:

  • Scan business cards using AI-powered OCR
  • Store and organize professional contact information
  • Create and share digital business cards
  • Sync contacts across devices via cloud services
  • Search, filter, tag, export, and manage contact data

Dexme is intended for professional and personal networking use.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Dexme. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

If you are using Dexme on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account

You agree to notify us immediately at contact@solveonlabs.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating and maintaining your account.

5. User Content and Contact Data

5.1 Your Content

Dexme allows you to upload, create, and store information, including:

  • Your digital business card details
  • Contact information of other individuals
  • Notes, tags, images, and custom fields

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Dexme.

5.2 Responsibility for Contact Data

You are solely responsible for the contact information you collect, upload, store, or share using Dexme. You agree that:

  • You have the legal right or consent to store and manage such data
  • You will use contact information in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws
  • You will not use Dexme to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or unlawful communications

We are not responsible for how you use the contact data you store in Dexme.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dexme to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the privacy or rights of others
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the Service beyond its intended use
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a harmful way

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Digital Business Cards and Sharing

Dexme enables you to share your digital business card through links, QR codes, and other sharing tools.

You understand that:

  • Anyone with access to your shared link or QR code may view the information you choose to share
  • You are responsible for deciding what information appears on your digital card

8. Data Sync, Storage, and Backups

Dexme uses cloud infrastructure to sync and store your data across devices.

While we implement strong security and backup measures, you acknowledge that:

  • No system is completely immune to data loss or security breaches
  • You are responsible for maintaining copies of critical information if needed

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to Dexme, including its software, design, branding, logos, and features, are owned by Solveon Labs Private Limited or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Dexme in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Dexme may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as social networks or external websites). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Dexme at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • Your use poses a security or legal risk

You may stop using Dexme at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting contact@solveonlabs.com.

12. Disclaimers

Dexme is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

We do not guarantee that OCR results or contact data extraction will always be perfectly accurate.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solveon Labs Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, business, or profits, arising from your use of Dexme.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use Dexme in the 12 months before the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solveon Labs Private Limited and its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of:

  • Your use of Dexme
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your misuse of contact data or violation of others’ rights

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of Dexme shall be subject to the competent courts of the Maldives, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app or other appropriate means. Continued use of Dexme after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
